RATES
$150 per 55-minute therapy session.
Reduced fee services are available based on income on a case by case basis. I am committed to not allowing finances to be a barrier to treatment. The initial consultation is $175.
INSURANCE
If you would like to utilize your insurance benefits I am "in network" with Aetna, American Behavioral, Meritain Health and a few others. I can bill as an "out of network" provider for other insurance companies and also provide you a statement to submit for reimbursement via an HSA (health savings account). I am in the process of applying to be paneled with other insurance companies.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.
If you look on the back of your insurance card there should be a phone number specifically for behavioral health/mental health services and you will be able to speak to someone about your plan's particular coverage, deductible and copay.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have outpatient mental health/behavioral health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many counseling sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an in network vs out-of-network provider?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
PAYMENT
Cash, check, HSA, debit or credit card is accepted for payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you do not show up for your scheduled session and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay 100% of the full cost of the treatment as booked. Insurance will not be billed for late cancellations or no shows.
